After releasing his full band album
"Opus 1", Yotam Ishay released his
second album - "S".
"SEED" is an album of six piano arrangements of Israeli songs and Jazz standards. Recorded on Yotam’s personal home piano during the Covid pandemic, "SEED" is a representation of Ishay's musical comfort zone. The music is of balladic character and whispering sound on the spectrum between Impressionist piano and Jazz piano. The album is the 1st part of a double piano album. The 2nd part will include originals exclusively.
Debut Album
After many years of writing and fine-tuning his composition style, Yotam Ishay has released his first official album - "Opus 1". The album was released on June 20th, 2020, and is available on all streaming platforms.
Recorded with Yotam's diverse & intercultural group in the city of Boston on the east coast of America, "Opus 1" contains 4 pieces written & perfected in the years 2017-2018.
The music is a stir of intuitive melodies, together with impressionist textures, middle-eastern rhythms, and jazz improvisations.
